Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using SoloWrks (“the app”, “we”, “our”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

2. What the app does

SoloWrks helps you track time, mileage, expenses, jobs, and invoices. Your data is stored in a Google Spreadsheet in your own Google Drive account. We provide the interface; Google provides the storage.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. One person per account — don’t share your login.

4. Your data

You own your data. It lives in your Google Drive. We don’t claim any rights to it. If you stop using the app, your spreadsheet stays in your Drive exactly as-is.

We store account settings (business name, phone, etc.) and authentication tokens in our systems. We don’t sell or share this data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t:

• Use the app for anything illegal
• Try to access other users’ data
• Abuse the Google Sheets API through the app (excessive automated requests)
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the app

6. Invoices and payments

SoloWrks generates invoices based on data you enter. We don’t verify the accuracy of your invoices — you’re responsible for billing correctly. We don’t process payments; we just help you track them.

7. Gmail integration

When you send an invoice, the app sends an email from your Gmail account on your behalf. The email appears in your Gmail Sent folder. We only send emails when you explicitly tap “Send” — never automatically.

8. Availability and warranty

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or that the app will meet your specific needs. The app depends on Google’s APIs — if Google is down, the app is down.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which may be $0 if you’re on a free plan).

10. Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We’ll make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA.
